Excellent Pad Thai! I highly recommend trying it with the fried dumplings — they pair perfectly. If you’re into fresh flavors, ask for coriander on top — it adds a nice touch of green and flavor! Chanchai is and always has been a staple of the city. Not only is the food great, but it comes with exceptional service. This is a great place to sit down with friends and enjoy an opened air dining experience. It is very inexpensive, prepared meticulously and treated carefully. I love this place will definitely be a returning customer.

Best thai food in the area. Fried rice, Singapuri noodles and Pad thai is amazing. Bonus, you could ask for extra red thai chillies in your food and sriracha. Worth every revisit! PS: It is a bring your own wine restaurant.

I can say their fried rice is so good! The asian flavors are in every dish. Just the service is quite slow. We finished 1 dish before the 2nd arrived.

Fantastic Thai food in Sherbrooke! The space may be simple and could use a new layout, but the food will not disappoint. Very friendly service and wonderful owner. We will make this a regular spot, and recommend to all in the area! Ordered the paneang curry and had the chance to try the green curry, as well as the pad sew and the sweet and sour chicken. All so tasty!

Literally the best red curry I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve eaten red curry everywhere! The staff was amazing and was quick to speak English with us when they realized we were Anglos. Huge portions. They wondered why we ordered so much but we had to try everything! We would for sure come back next time!

Chanchai has evolved over the years (and so have its prices) but it's still one of the best (vegan or not) Thai places in the city. The interior has become very classy, almost romantic, and the service and staff are excellent. The prices are a little exaggerated though, and the portions have become smaller and smaller though (the crispy spinach entree is highway robbery).
